TNE Speakeasy: Bonus #40 (It’s Christmas Time at the Bar ft. Jason)

Jumping back into the TNE archives, we unveil (part) of the bonus material from the recent Supergirl discussion with Jason. The Thing From Another World (1951)

After an extended delay, and right in time for the Christmas season, the boys from the Book Club have reunited once again as they arrive at the second part of their Who Goes There? series. Jumping back to the familiar snow-bound thriller, Isaac, Caleb, and Johnny take a look at how the story was translated for the 50s film audience (and censors), and how much of the original material made it to the screens. After three weeks in a row of kicking off brand new retrospectives, we step back into a well woven path with another entry in our Superman retrospective!
