TNE Speakeasy: Bonus #50 (A Brief Stop at the Bar with the Star Wars Crew)

Stopping in for a brief trip to the TNE speakeasy, Caleb, Eric, Sean, Steve and Isaac had a little more say following our two recent Star Wars releases, but due to the long length of those episode, a bonus episode was made. We also have an update for the selection of films going forward with this series.

Serial Mom (1994)

The trio of Caleb, Eric and Sean return yet again to the wild and filthy world of John Waters films. This time turning our eyes to one of his later day entries, with Serial Mom! Like with Pink Flamingos, Caleb and Sean are familiar with the film, with Eric once again playing the role of the newbie. Will third time be the charm for Eric and John Waters? Or will this one once again prove to be a bust? Run, don't walk to hit that play button!

Fear and Desire (1953) {Stanley Kubrick Retrospective}

Welcome once again to a brand new series here on The Novice Elitists Film Podcast, Eric and Caleb are proud to announce that they've been making their way through all the films by Stanley Kubrick. As you can see from the date below, they started this retrospective quite awhile ago, and by the time this is dropping, they've already recorded the episodes for all the Kubrick films from the 1950s. So, like our previous Strange Animation series, we'll be dropping these episodes once every two weeks until we end this run with Paths of Glory. Then we'll return to this series once we've completed all his 60s films.

TNE Speakeasy: Bonus #60 (Drink Mixes, Pride 2022, and our Teen Exploits ft. Caleb & Isaac)

Caleb and Isaac return to the bar for another laid back discussion, and this time a little more removed from their usual topics. Opening themselves up a little more, as they occasionally do on these shows, the two discuss how they were during their teen years, and the influences that religion and sexual preferences had in their lives. An unplanned tie into this years Pride Month festivities! And they also get into an extended discussion on different types of alcoholic drink mixes, among other topics. Once again the Novice Elitists are making good on their old promises.
