The Halloween Festivities continues, and we're keeping up the trend of bringing a variety of coverage to this series, starting from live action film, to animation, now switching over to the written word as Brianna once again returns to the podcast for another book discussion!
This time joining Caleb for a follow up to their discussion on The Doctor of Dr. Moreau from last year, as they look at the next novel by Silvia Moreno-Garcia, with her magic-soaked dive into the outskirts of the Mexican film industry in the mid-90s, in Silver Nitrate!

Caleb and Isaac return for another focused lens Speakeasy, this time splitting the conversation into two seperate topics. The first half focused mainly on WWE immediately following Wrestlemania 39, as well as touching on Caleb's thoughts on AEW from that same time period. Then on the second half, they go over some of the major movie trailers for the summer of 2023. A pretty dated trip to the bar, considering it's releasing in October, but hey better late than never, right?

Finally clearing out the dustiest corner of the TNE Archives, we arrive at the last entry from the 60s range of episodes. This time with Caleb and Eric covering a variety of topics, such as their differing experiences with horror films, including some contention on the recent Invisible Man film, and more. They also waste some more air time debating the anti-woke phenomenon, and how it applies to modern movies vs. older ones. But apart from the tired ground of conversation, they also discuss Eric's love of Cobra Kai.
